Holy crap, mobile phone company goes above and beyond for customers?

The power of iphone continues to amaze. T-mobile does not carry the iPhone but when they pushed a system update that caused problems for their customers using unlocked iphones, they actually recognized the problem and took steps to communicate and fix.

I’ve been with T-Mobile/VoiceStream/Powertel for over a decade but am planning to switch to Sprint when the Palm Pre ships later this year but this is the kind of customer goodwill that may lead me to rethink switching. Now if they could only get a decent device. The G1 does not impress and it’s been over 6 months since that first Android device.
