If people want your attention, they’ll have to earn it. Only real, motivated people will be able to contact you, not automated message servers, not Nigerian scammers. When they do, they’re forced by the system to keep it short.

Interesting article on how to set up an email filter barrier. I’ve been slowly doing this sort of thing but haven’t gone whole-hog to abandon my primary email address. It’s an intriguing idea and with the Gmail outages of late (and inherent privacy issues) it’s become more compelling? Do you think Twitter and facebook are mainstream enough to direct potential primary contacts to run through their hoops? Will Twitter and facebook become as cluttered as email is today?
